Clause is truly a wonderful and outstanding person. His presence was a huge comfort on our bad day. He was of great help to us. Despite the terrible and stormy weather, we had nearly forty heavy boxes and two pick-up points. Yet, he persistently and efficiently helped us move our luggage trip after trip. We chatted and laughed throughout the journey. We didn’t finish until 8 pm, and he hadn’t even had his dinner. I highly recommend choosing him!

Very good experience! Rafal was polite, friendly and punctual. I received several calls before the appointed time from Rafal and was given updates of his trip (London traffic’s tricky). He was very helpful and careful with the luggages. My disassembled desks were wrapped by cloth to prevent from scratches. I understand moving can be stressful, and with the help of Rafal I felt bad relief. Highly recommend!
Rafael was good and hard working, initially quotes £88 for 20 boxes and few household items. Ended up being a lot more than that, the van was full to the brim! So gave another £40 on top which was fine with me. He helped lift all the heavy boxes upstairs then had to go to another job so my partner and I had to do the other half of the lighter stuff ourselves, this was also acceptable as I quoted Raf a smaller job than expected and he probably had other jobs to go to with the timings etc. Good moving guy who was polite and not lazy. I'd use his services again!

We had a problem where Google maps was telling us there was no way to drive to my new place and it took us about an hour circling around the area to get there and he was patient and polite throughout (it wasn’t his fault google and Apple Maps were giving the wrong information for both of us). Super speedy at moving my many boxes and he definitely knows how to stack - the entire lot went in the lift in one go, where as I would have taken about 5 trips up and down. Would definitely recommend.

We check and verify the waste licenses of all drivers meaning you can rest assured there is no fly tipping when using Man and Van. We are extremely conscientious about the environment and ensure that all waste jobs only get sent to drivers with valid waste licenses.
We give the option to pay a small deposit and balance on the day or pay in full, whichever you prefer. We also ensure that our drivers have general van insurance and goods in transit insurance.

Then you will need to “Sign in” to your account with your email and password.
If you do not have any jobs with us yet, you will automatically see the “Create Booking” screen when you log in to the app.
If you have previously created a job you will be presented with the “Bookings” screen, from there you can click ” Book” to add a new job for quotation.
Step 1 is to select your type of job;
When you’ve made a selection click “Next”
Step 2, give drivers a brief description and provide some pictures to help them quote more accurately.
If there is more information you think may help, such as “up 2 flights of stairs” or “limited van access due to a narrow lane”, click on additional info and add the extra details in the box provided.
Click “Next” to move to step 3, You’re half way through already!
Step 3, provide details of To and From addresses
Add a postcode, full address, or use the “current location” picker, if you are at the location the items need collecting from.
Then add a destination address and/or postcode – remember, the more accurate the information the more accurate the quotations will be.
If you’re having rubbish removed or a house clearance, you can request the driver to take everything to the nearest recycling or waste disposal site using the handy “Nearest Tip” button.
Then request a date and time for the collection, or simply ASAP.
And press “next” again to go to the final step.
Step 4 is a summary, just checking you have not forgotten anything and that all of the details are correct.
Once you’ve checked and you are happy, press “Submit”
There are plenty of drivers in your area all waiting to give you a quote for the job.
It won’t be long before you hear the “beep beep” which means you have received a quote from a local driver who can do the job for you!
What should you do when you’ve received a Quote from a Driver?
When you hear the “Beep Beep” from the app it could be a new Quote!
Click “view” to see the details of the quote.
You will be able to see a Driver’s review score, how many jobs they have completed, and their Insurance and License statuses, along with the Price Quoted and any messages they may have added to the quote.
You can communicate further with the driver or wait for more quotes, you’ll get a few quotes and they won’t all be the same as the drivers set their own prices.
Drivers can give information on number of people they will bring, and how many vans they have available, so for some jobs you may wish to choose a more expensive quote simply because more hands will be available.
Once you are ready to accept a quote, select which one you think will be best for the job and click “View Quote”
Inside the Quote detail screen you will see the breakdown of the charges, including your 15% deposit which is to be paid now to secure the booking. The remainder of the fees should be paid directly to the driver, via cash on the day, bank transfer or whatever you agree between you and the driver.

You will get a confirmation on the screen and via Email
Congratulations! Your job is now Booked!
To view booked jobs, click on the Bookings Menu and you will see Pending (quotes incoming), Accepted (Quotes accepted and paid for), and Completed bookings
Contacting a Driver after making a booking is easy!
After booking a job you can contact your Man + Van driver via the Confirmed Booking.
Select “Bookings” in the navigation menu at the foot of the app.
Find the job which has been quoted by choosing the “Accepted” filter at the top
Click on “View” to open the detailed view, and scroll down to the bottom where you will see a “Contact” option to open a messaging thread with your driver.
What do I do once the job is finished?
When the job is completed and your man and van is packing away, this is when you would normally pay the balance owed.
You should then press “job complete” and write a Review and give your driver a Star Rating.
The star rating and review process is an important part of the process. This will help our drivers build business reputation within the App and review their feedback. It will also help customers when choosing a service provider.
A few easy steps
Make sure you’ve downloaded the free app.
At the very bottom of the app’s sign up page click “sign up here to offer man + van services”.
Fill in the registration page and include your driving licence number, we need this to verify you.
If you have a Limited Company please give us the company name and your VAT or Waste Licence numbers if you have them.
Tick the boxes to confirm your Insurances (We may ask you to send us copies of your certificates).
Then tick to confirm you have read and agree to the terms and conditions and you are now registered !
You are now ready to quote on the jobs listed through the app!
Listen out for the beep beep !
During the quotation stage, you can add a question in the body of the quote, to provide more info or to clarify something with the customer.
After quoting for a job, and before the customer has accepted the quote, you will also be able to contact the customer via our integrated messaging service.
Access the “Quotes” section of the app, click on the quote in question, and near the bottom is an option to “View conversation with…” where you can open up a messaging thread with the customer.
You can ask the customer for more details, or why not let them know you are on your way or update them on your arrival time?
What do I do when I have completed the job?
When you have completed the job your customer will pay you directly.
The customer will then need to click on ” job complete” within the booking in the app. At this stage they are able to rate/review your service.
You will then receive a notification that the Client has marked the job as complete, and you can also click “job complete” within the job, this lets us know the service is all completed, and the booking can be archived to avoid clogging up your jobs list.
In addition to van insurance, you’ll probably require goods in transit insurance to cover items while they’re in your van. Public liability insurance is also beneficial, offering protection in case goods get damaged or people are injured as a result of your business operations.

I had my doubts, but literally got 5 replies to my advert in less than an hour, (and I posted it at 7.30 am) – all sorted for a move in three days time in less than an hour. Way cheaper than any of the quotes I was getting through removal companies, the move went really well as well. Thought it would all be dodgy quotes and dubious characters , but actually turned out to be super easy, 50% cheaper than any other quotes I got and all went to plan. I thought that it was a rubbish app at first, as nothing was coming in for my part of the UK. However, a job came in late last night and I was picked to complete it this morning. The only thing that’s not clear is how the client pays the booking fee. It shows how much goes to the driver and how much the total job is, but it doesn’t explain how or who is paying the booking fee.

Many thanks to Nassar who helped me a lot with my move. He waited about 10minutes before the appointment, and very kind and patient during the move. He had many moving tools(Large bags, trolly etc.) with him which made things much easier and efficient. He’s a nice person and very easy to communicate with. Clause is truly a wonderful and outstanding person. His presence was a huge comfort on our bad day. He was of great help to us. Despite the terrible and stormy weather, we had nearly forty heavy boxes and two pick-up points. Yet, he persistently and efficiently helped us move our luggage trip after trip. We chatted and laughed throughout the journey. We didn’t finish until 8 pm, and he hadn’t even had his dinner. I highly recommend choosing him!

We underestimated the amount of boxes we would need in our move but Gergo made no issue and was really accommodating, he even helped us shift the boxes out and into the new place which wasn’t expected! Very good experience! Rafal was polite, friendly and punctual. I received several calls before the appointed time from Rafal and was given updates of his trip (London traffic’s tricky). He was very helpful and careful with the luggages. My disassembled desks were wrapped by cloth to prevent from scratches. I understand moving can be stressful, and with the help of Rafal I felt bad relief. Highly recommend!
Rafael was good and hard working, initially quotes £88 for 20 boxes and few household items. Ended up being a lot more than that, the van was full to the brim! So gave another £40 on top which was fine with me. He helped lift all the heavy boxes upstairs then had to go to another job so my partner and I had to do the other half of the lighter stuff ourselves, this was also acceptable as I quoted Raf a smaller job than expected and he probably had other jobs to go to with the timings etc. Good moving guy who was polite and not lazy. I'd use his services again!

Really friendly guy who was helpful and throughout the delivery. We had a problem where Google maps was telling us there was no way to drive to my new place and it took us about an hour circling around the area to get there and he was patient and polite throughout (it wasn’t his fault google and Apple Maps were giving the wrong information for both of us). Super speedy at moving my many boxes and he definitely knows how to stack - the entire lot went in the lift in one go, where as I would have taken about 5 trips up and down. Would definitely recommend.

I love him! First of all, he is very punctual and will call in advance to inform his arrival time. Then he was very patient and efficient. Pushing his little cart, he can carry eight extra large boxes at a time. He's really super strong! At last he is very handsome and very humorous! We had a great time talking the whole time. I lost a screw in my full-length mirror and he found it in the blanket and brought it to my room door. Highly recommended, everyone come to choose Aaron!
